Every day I come up with new reasons why I love this dude.  Today there’s a whole slew of ‘em, though. Here are a few of highlights: 1. He bought me the sixth season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show (my #1 fave) for my birthday (which is tomorrow).  And—get this—he bought it from my own online store.  It’s a double-gift!  2. This afternoon, he brought me crackers, coffee, water, and drugs as I lay in bed recovering from a migraine. Later he prepared a tiny cup of tea, complete with dates and feta crumbles on crackers. I ate the snack while watching parts of Best in Show. I felt like a dainty Brit. 3. He is making not one, not two, not three, but FOUR 100% homemade pies for my small birthday get-together tomorrow.  4. Knowing I am not a big fan of the no-beard, just mustache face, he shaved completely (another birthday treat—he does this nearly every year despite loving his strange facial hair looks, esp. the verrrryyy long and straggly beard).
