TREEHOUSE Kid & Craft: quality art supplies, yes please
Confession:
I was (and am?) a cheap art supply junkie, and I’d NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THIS BEFORE. It’s true that the few high-quality supplies I have (a beautiful pen/marker set from a friend, some lovely drawing pencils I love to look at but rarely use) have outlasted their cheap counterparts. But still I never much realized that the higher quality items are worth the cost.
I don’t think I’ve shopped for any art supplies since I got all crazy into the buy local movement, but next time I need something, you can bet I will be going to Treehouse Kid & Craft or The Loft, two awesome Athens businesses that know their art.
