My teal typewriter is sort of a mascot for my bookstore.  I purchased it at a friend’s moving sale (hi, 100% Wolfgang) and have been staring at it lovingly ever since.  Its color was the inspiration for my store’s logo, but of course you can’t see the color in this picture. Typewriters are beautiful.  I have three, though only one is a completely manual getup like this one. Spring weather makes me want to buy some new ribbon and sit on the porch to write faux-poetic, typewritten letters to friends.
