There’s a swing in my “backyard,” one that the Circus People hung from a very tall tree a few years ago.  Slowly but surely, more people are discovering this magical spot.  It’s so lovely to sit on the deck and watch people play on the swing.  At 10 AM, it might be a family with small kids.  At noon, a shirtless dude and his dog will take a swing.  And by dark, there’s often a congregation of college kids hanging out, yelping and whooping and having a blast. Last week we saw a girl in a bridal gown swinging while she had her photo taken.  I’ve seen other photo shoots out there, but this one was particularly lovely. And here’s a note to you guys who go out there often:  stop by my house next time you’re swinging!
