After sending off the biggest check of my LIFE yesterday (which only covered half of what I owe in taxes—ah, the joy of being self-employed but still low income!), this enrages me.  <grr>  I know things are complicated and that I haven’t even begun to understand the tax laws, but I do know something’s wrong when behemoth companies are getting major tax breaks and I am getting broken by my taxes.
